Innovation-Creativity Dimension

Creativity is a  process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts between existing ideas or concepts. Innovation is sparked by a creative nature and along with creativity, it is natural to some and taught  and learned by others. Creativity is measured, taught, and learned in different ways.

This is a small game that helps measure your creative side and your ability to see things that may not be readily obvious, but is easily seen once the right parts of the brain align. Obviously if you do bad or don't get any right this doesn't mean your not creative, it just may mean you might wanna stretch the imagination a bit.

The game after the jump:

 1. There are 14 punctuation marks in English grammar. How many can you name?

2. Name at least 8 articles, each starting with the letter “s” worn on the feet.

-Ha! bet you cant name more than 5!

3. Study this paragraph and all things in it. What is vitally wrong with it? Actually, nothing in it is wrong, but you must admit that it is most unusual. Don't just zip through it quickly, but study it scrupulously. With luck you should spot what is so particular about it and all words found in it. Can you say what it is? Tax your brains and try again. Don't miss a word or a symbol. It isn't all that difficult?

 -Hmmm...

4. How many squares do you see?

 -How well can you count?

5. What expressions do the following represent?

Example:

Left out Field
hmmm Giving this one to you.... out in(between) left field

eeeeeeeeeec

13579 AZ

knee

light light

- Did you get the rest after the example?

6. Three men decided to split the cost of a hotel room. The hotel manager gave them a price of $30. The men split the bill evenly, each paying $10, and retired to their room.  However, the manager realized that it was a Wednesday night, which meant the hotel had a special: rooms were only $25. He had overcharged them $5!

He promptly called the bellboy, gave him five one-dollar bills and told him to return it to the men. When the bellboy explained the situation to the men, they were so pleased at the honesty of the establishment that they promptly tipped the bellboy $2 of the $5 he had returned and each kept $1 for himself.

The Problem: Each of the three men ended up paying $9 (their original $10, minus $1 back) totaling $27, plus $2 for the bellboy makes $29. Where did the extra dollar go?

Hmm i wonder how many of you lost money like this ;^)

7. Proof?

X = Y

X2 = XY

X2 – Y2 = XY – Y2

(X + Y)(X - Y) = Y(X - Y)

(X + Y) = Y

Y + Y = Y

2Y = Y

2=1

Any one good at math? Even if your not still...
