End of Miniproject 1

With end of project one over, a lot has been learned about design processes, implementation of the HoQ. Its also a great opportunity to exercise our creativity skills and get away from the analytical side of engineering. A nice change.

Info and Video of mini project one after the jump.

My group presented well before the class. With one slide and one minute we had to sum up our project. 4 weeks of work in one minute, which i can probably say safely that this a new challenge for most in out class. Great ideas we  presented for the 1st mini project. (see blog entry, mini project 1)

Below is a video recorded by our Profesor Kemper Lewi

PART 4

So the presentations were only worth 10% of our entire project grade, which we did very well on. Unfortunately, our repoert suffered horendously due to lack of detail and proper direction. We were focused on a solution and I think thats where out biggest downfall was. We also lacked detail, in explaining the HoQ and explaining each of our customer requirements along with our engineering specs. One other minor detail was missing, where the use of our sources were used in our project.

I guess this counts a  great learning experience. Improvements are a must for the next project and the quality of our technical report has to stand out. Hopefully we can subdivide the report and come together with something more powerful for the A.
