LEXUS LFA - Toyota's Supercar

The real Japanese SUPERCAR

The Lexus LFA straight from the shores of Japan. Incase you havent been keeping up with Toyota's latest projects the LFA is a super car from Lexus like no other. Unlike the IS-F everything is new on this car from the ground up.

More info and pics after the jump...

Lexus teased us for about a year or so letting us know that they haven't lost there soul.

With cars like the Prius, Camry, and Corolla selling like wildfire they have built a reputation for reliable cars for decades, but after the Toyota Supra, and even the demise of the Toyota MR-2 they haven't been known much for very building sporty cars.

The LFA is a direct stab at the people from Italy who are known for creating some of the most exotic super cars in the world.

The Lexus LFA is a Toyota's first supercar (well atleast to my recollection) that is being sold here in the U.S. The best cars are always saved for the homeland. 150 copies will make to US shore but cannot be bought. They will be available for 2yr leases. This doesn't come cheap either at $375,00 it aint no bargain, but there is a certain inflation for its rarity. You also get

  • 4.8L V-10
  • 552hp @ 8700 rpm (redline 9000rpm)
  • 354lb-ft of torque @6800rpm
  • 0-62 in 3.7s
  • 200+ mph top speed
For the gear heads

My question is if its being leased, you prolly wont have to pay the full price for the car, as usual leases go you pay for portion of the car's value to "rent" it. In any case it is sexy check out the pics below.
